Lilee Systems, a provider of advanced communication systems, recently announced that it is the newest member into the Intel (News - Alert) Intelligent Systems Alliance, an ecosystem of 200+ member companies that provide the performance, connectivity, manageability and security that developers need to create smart, connected systems.
Lilee Systems focuses on delivering reliable communications products and solutions to the industry. The founders of Lilee Systems have extensive backgrounds in software-defined radio (SDR) and network routing and switching, and are active participants in standards bodies defining next-generation networking and wireless architectures.
By leveraging its core competencies in Software-Defined Radio systems and networking, Lilee Systems has developed the TransAir PTC-3000 product family of 220 MHz radios, along with the Wayside Messaging Server, mobility controllers and communications management units, to offer a complete end-to-end interoperable radio communications network.
"By becoming a member of the Intelligent Systems Alliance, Lilee Systems underscores the commitment to intelligent connectivity for device communications applications that we serve today in the transportation, environmental monitoring and energy markets," explained Christine Van De Graaf, senior product strategy manager at Lilee Systems. "We recognize that the framework for Intelligent Systems outlined by Intel complements how we best serve the needs of expanding industries for M2M communications across markets including telematics, automation, digital healthcare, security and others."
The PTC communications family includes a series of five products: the wayside radio, locomotive radio, yard radio, basestation and mobility controller. Its software-defined radio technology is flexible and designed to be interoperable with other new and existing systems. It facilitates fast roaming for seamless wireless connections and provides the highest level of security with AES encryption and powerful policy based filters and Access Control List.
Lilee’s service connects all relevant control stations for the safety of all rail communications.
