Infinite-Range Offers Convenient Security for those with Remote Gates and Locked Entrances

By Brittany Walters-Bearden, TMCnet Contributor

Thanks to RoveTec’s new Infinite-Range Wireless Cell Phone (News - Alert) Network Intercom series, businesses and individuals alike will be able to stop missing visitors and deliveries. Infinite-Range users cellphone service to transmit calls from visitors at remote gates and locked entrances to cell phones and landlines, offering them the opportunity to answer it from anywhere in the world.

This offers a number of benefits, both in terms of convenience and in terms of safety. Up to 100 telephone numbers of friends, family members, delivery drivers, landscapers and other people who require frequent access to the gate can be programmed in, allowing the white-listed users automatic access whenever they call the number.

Additionally, when a call from a visitor who has not been pre-approved goes through, it will be placed to up to three numbers, starting with the primary number, then trying a secondary number and a tertiary number.

Furthermore, people can communicate with their security gate via SMS, sending a message to temporarily open the gate or check whether or not it is closed. On days when there is a large event or some other reason for heavy vehicle traffic, users can even send an SMS to the gate to latch it open and send another message to close it at the end of the event.

Tim Bruxvoort, IntercomsOnline.com president, says that the product is a “great productivity tool for businesses,” as well as a way for homeowners to “make it appear you’re at home, even when you aren’t.” By answering the intercom, he says, burglars will have to “come up with a fake excuse of why they are there” and then “move on to an easier target.” The Infinite-Range Wireless Cell Phone Network Intercom is certain to be adapted by many businesses and home owners, whether they throw a lot of parties, travel frequently, or have frequent deliveries and visitors.
