Arterra Mobility, a company committed to making it easy for enterprises to develop custom wireless solutions to launch MNVO services faster, better and more affordably, has announced an important new hire in Andy Greig.
A telecommunication industry veteran, Greig has been appointed the senior vice president of sales and business development.
In his new role, Greig will spearhead the company’s sales efforts for enterprise clients and Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) partners.
Greig, who has been associated with such key telecommunication players as TNs and Sprint (News - Alert), will be leveraging his strong industry acquaintance with Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO), and M2M and related managed solutions to develop new relationships with enterprise and MVNE partners.
“I’m excited to join the Arterra team. I’ve watched the company’s growth and expansion over the last few months and am looking forward to showing the wireless industry all that Arterra has to offer,” Greig, an MBA from Pepperdine University and a B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing from San Diego State University, said in a statement.

We know he’s going to make an immediate impact and be a great asset to our team,” commented Arterra CEO, Daniel Neal.
Prior to joining Arterra, Greig was VP of Sales at TNS (News - Alert). There, he led the company’s sales and business development efforts within the Telecom Services Division.
At sprint, Greig was a member of Sprint’s wholesale leadership team, simultaneously serving as sales director for Emerging Markets and Embedded Devices. In this dual role, he was responsible for a national sales team in pursuit of wholesale M2M relationships across all key verticals including consumer electronics, medical devices, transportation, ATM/POS and tracking.
Greig also managed Sprint’s MVNO business inclusive of business development and strategy.
Arterra Mobility recently announced the availability of 4G wireless network services on its Global Mobile Award-nominated Sentinel platform. Starting in the fall, Sentinel customers will be able to consume data at faster speeds, while still using Sentinel's patented technology to filter inappropriate content, control costs and ensure proper use while using 4G WiMAX (News - Alert) supported devices, including certain Android tablets, laptops and smartphones.
