Industry veteran Jeff Davis has recently been promoted to Senior Vice President of Engineering by Multi-Tech (News - Alert) Systems, a global manufacturer of M2M communications and Unified Communications solutions.
Davis has worked for Multi-Tech for almost 32 years. The last six years he served the company as vice president of engineering, where he was responsible for the development of 34 domestic patents and numerous foreign patents.
In his new role as senior VP of engineering, Davis will now spearhead engineering teams for both of the company’s product lines: M2M and Unified Communications (News - Alert).
“Recognized for his clearness of thought and ability to incorporate learned facts with common sense, Jeff’s contributions to the organization throughout the years have been immeasurable,” said Damian Luna, Chief Operating Officer of Engineering by Multi-Tech Systems, in a statement. “We will look to Jeff to carry forward the strong engineering tradition, while developing innovative solutions that provide enhanced value to our customers.”
Working with Multi-Tech, Davis showcased great success in building effective teams and improving processes.
With his vast experience, Davis will continue to work on Multi-Tech’s executive leadership team. Officials confirmed that he will also expand his responsibilities to oversee new product development.

In related TMC (News - Alert) news, Multi-Tech Systems recently announced that it is expanding its fax server line series, with the addition of the new FaxFinder FFX40 models. The models are expected to meet the critical Internet faxing needs of today.
