XRS Corporation, a provider of mobile fleet optimization software, made its XRS system, a mobile platform for compliance and fleet optimization, available in limited release.

The new XRS system takes into account that up to 90 percent of drivers own a mobile device and the unwillingness of fleet managers to install expensive bulky onboard solutions and hard-wired displays. With no additional hardware costs, the XRS platform is expected to be available from major mobile networks in both U.S. and Canada.

XRS is stated to be a compliance powerhouse in the palm of the driver’s hand and operates on their mobile device. Its main objective is to help keep fleets and drivers compliant. The subscription-based monthly service is expected to start at $39 per vehicle per month.

With advanced features built into it for enhanced fleet optimization, XRS does not demand frequent hardware replacements and can help drivers realize benefits like reduced fuel consumption, better driver and vehicle utilization, and accident reduction.
