Numerex (News - Alert), a provider of on-demand and interactive machine-to-machine (M2M) enterprise solutions, recently entered into a collaboration agreement with Sentaca, a provider of strategic consulting services to the telecoms industry.

Dave Signorelli, chief operating officer of Sentaca, said in a statement, “We have no doubt that our alliance with a recognized leader of the M2M market such as Numerex will accentuate our differentiation in the marketplace. Numerex solutions should rapidly and seamlessly complement Sentaca's services internationally.”

Sentaca solutions and services cater to the needs of the mobile, telecommunications and Internet Industry in Europe and North America. Its services help clients to leverage latest advancements in mobile technology to support commercial deployments.

This collaboration is expected to cover Numerex Foundation Application Software Technology (FAST (News - Alert)), a horizontal M2M application platform for vertical M2M applications and M2M integration support services from Numerex and Sentaca’s international operational support and development capabilities.

Sentaca will deliver operational, consultancy, development and engineering support services to international resources of Numerex. While Sentaca will gain access to M2M Service Delivery Platform (SDP) and M2M application frameworks of Numerex to launch solutions to its wide customer base rapidly and efficiently.

Jeff Newman, senior vice president of Business Development at Numerex, remarked, “Sentaca provides a solid array of technical capabilities well suited for Numerex’s development across Europe. In particular, we will be able to rely on local expertise for Numerex FAST deployments, and commercial, test and integration support for our European expansion.”

Numerex technology and services are delivered on a subscription basis and are used widely in the development and support of M2M solutions in both enterprises and government agencies. Numerex DNA includes hardware and smart devices, cellular and satellite network services and software applications delivered via Numerex FAST.

In October 2012, Alcohol Monitoring Systems (AMS) selected Numerex to develop and improve its alcohol monitoring products for criminal justice use. Numerex offered advisory and design services and provided an adjustable M2M turnkey wireless solution for the company.
