Enghouse Systems Signs Master Distribution Agreement with CCMENA

Enghouse Systems, a Canada-based provider of enterprise software solutions, and Converged Communications FZ LLC (CCMENA) announced it has signed a Master Distribution Agreement for the Middle East and North Africa region.

Under the terms of this partnership, CCMENA will distribute Enghouse’s range of contact center, operator console, quality management and call recording solutions in these regions. CCMENA will also complement these solutions with their portfolio of value added professional services for consultancy, deployment and integration of communication solutions.

This agreement will provide existing partners and customers across the Middle East and North Africa region with increased sales, pre sales and support services with regional offices in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, company officials said. CCMENA have plans to open further offices in Qatar in the forthcoming months.

Enghouse is the parent company for Mettoni, Arc Solutions, Datapulse and Syntellect (News - Alert).

CCMENA is one of the leading suppliers of hardware and software building blocks and services in the Middle East and North Africa region.

As the exclusive master distributor for Enghouse in the Middle East and North Africa, CCMENA will be solely responsible for the distribution and support of technology and services offered under the Arc Solutions (News - Alert), Datapulse and Syntellect brands. The company already has experience in distributing Syntellect solutions in these regions.

The new partnership will drive even greater local adoption of advanced collaboration and unified communications applications in region, according to company officials.

As part of its strategic growth plans, Enghouse has moved the existing Mettoni team into the CCMENA organization, to build an even stronger skills base with wider geographical coverage, and resulting in a more comprehensive solutions portfolio for partners and customers.

The agreement will commence from May 1, 2011, with the Mettoni team being transferred to the CCMENA Regional Head Office in Dubai Internet City (News - Alert), Dubai, UAE.

“Having already been actively marketing Enghouse products in the region, this exclusive master distribution agreement in the Middle East and North Africa, widens our offering for our customers and is an important milestone in the regions communications commitment and development,” said Ashraf Elyan, managing director of CCMENA, in a statement.

According to Iain McKenzie, EMEA MD of Enghouse Interaction Management Division, the new agreement enables the company to strengthen their local offering for customers and partners in region.

“It was important for Enghouse to select the right distributor for our brands – Arc Solutions, Datapulse (News - Alert) and Syntellect – and in CCMENA we found a company with a strong presence in region who will continue to build on our success and strengthen our brands even further with local customers,” McKenzie added.

Recently Enghouse announced that Syntellect has acquired the business and operations of CosmoCom (News - Alert), a provider of hosted contact center consolidation solutions, for $20 million in cash.
