CallCopy (News - Alert) was on hand at Cisco Live in San Diego this week showcasing its cc: Discover workforce optimization offering prizes for attendees who visited their booth. With the UC software solution, companies have call recording, quality management, screen capture, speech analytics and performance management right at their fingertips.
Also this week, Verint (News
- Alert) Systems announced its Impact 360 Workforce Optimization software for Contact Centers is helping Cabelas, a specialty retailer across five of its contact center sites in Nebraska. ISI (News - Alert) Telemanagement and Verba Technologies also announced a partnership for voice and video call recording that includes streamlined call searching and playback.Mitchell Weiss, ISI's director of Product Strategy noted that the partnership will help customer’s better monitor interactions and used those recording in areas of discovery, legal compliance, quality management, customer service improvement and agent training.
Related to the topic of recording calls, Pennsylvania’s wiretap laws have been hotly debated as of late.This TMCnet article looks at the varying stances and how the final decision on whether or not recording of phone calls should be authorized based on a state law (outside of government and FBI liberties).
