OAISYS Releases Speech Search Application for Talkument and Tracer Call Recording Solutions

By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor

OAISYS (News - Alert) recently announced the release of version 7.3 of its Talkument and Tracer software solutions. The new version has unique speech search functionality and is based on the Aurix (News - Alert) speech engine. The OAISYS speech search application will allow users to search call recordings based on spoken content. The company specializes in business call recording and contact center management solutions.

In a release, Brian Spencer (News - Alert), president of OAISYS, said, "Combined with our solutions' industry-leading compliance functionality, speech search provides users with an enhanced ability to quickly locate any and all calls needed to support documentation for regulatory or business process issues. Used in conjunction with our existing text-based search functionality, this application will significantly reduce the time required to obtain results when identifying and retrieving pertinent recordings."

The Speech search feature is available in different flexible deployments and usage options. The speech search can be hosted by the same platform that is hosting the OAISYS audio recording server or alternatively can also be hosted on a different system to maximize performance and reduce the load.

Spencer continued, "We have made significant investments in our products and partnerships to bring our users the best possible solutions for regulatory compliance and improved business process performance. In keeping with our OAISYS AllWays vision, we have made our solutions available in a range of deployment options and accessible across modern devices. We plan to extend this vision further in subsequent products and services to be announced later this year."

The speech search feature leverages advanced phonetics-based technology to check recordings for spoken phrases and then return those containing one or more matches. By taking advantage of this feature, users will be able to search their complete libraries of indexed calls or target their search to address specific portions of calls that are stored in their databases.

OAISYS has scheduled, on June 25, the official early adopter release for version 7.3 and will make the feature available as an optional licensed item. The company plans to make it available to the public during late August.
