Star2Star provides a reliable business communications solution with its unique blended architecture that overcomes the quality limitations of other Internet communications technologies by making available three new StarBox Internet Communications Appliances.
All Star2Star systems include a StarBox, a super-reliable, solid-state, on-premise voice appliance and the latest StarBox models, StarBox 2250, StarBox 2250CR, and the StarBox 5500CR. will include new call recording features and a new call recording archive service.
StarBox 2200, which was previously in vogue, is being replaced by StarBox 2250. StarBox 2250 and StarBox 5500 are available with optional internal solid-state storage for call recording with 2250CR being able to store up to 2,500 hours of recorded calls, and 5500CR up to 5,000 hours.
While the 2250 model uses only 25 watts of power; StarBox 5500 uses approximately 100 watts of power and employs a solid-state disk for quiet, reliable operation and long life.
In addition, StarBox also offers an optional cloud-based archive service for long-term storage of call recordings and a cloud-based backup of call recordings on a regular schedule, with no user intervention. Recorded calls can be played back using the Star2Star Application Framework.
The StarBox connects over the Internet to the company's data centers, which help to continuously manage and monitor the quality of the user's phone system. This increases reliability and also increases cost savings over the traditional systems.
Performing more or less the same functions, the three models differ primarily in the number of supported users. Regardless of the mode of connection to the Internet, these systems provide powerful, unique calling features and other advanced functions.
Recently, Star2Star Communications (News - Alert) certified Panasonic’s (News - Alert) SIP KX-TGP500 with the Star2Star Business Internet Communications System and service.
