Enterprise Call Recording Week in Review

By Stefania Viscusi, Assignment Desk Editor

Welcome to the latest edition of TMCnet’s Enterprise Call Recording Week in Review – where you’ll find a brief rundown of all the top stories related to recording calls in the enterprise space from this past week.

GL Communications (News - Alert) took the wraps off its newest LinkTest Dual E1 offering this week in a bid to make it easier for devices used to test and measure E1 to operate on batteries.

In addition to the handheld device packing all the standard basic features, it also includes sophisticated Jitter, Wander and Datacom testing options and is offered at a low cost.

DUAL E1 can also collect call records from remote locations and assist in generating and monitoring CAS signals.

UC provider Alteva (News - Alert) also announced updates to its line of hosted UC services with the addition of new call reporting and a call accounting platform.

With call reporting, companies have an archive of all telecommunications activity and can track details like phone numbers, extensions, incoming and outgoing calls – and more.

Not only does this ensure compliance and accuracy – it can also be used as a tool to record call volumes and activity and proper dispersal of workloads.

Another call recording solutions provider, Accurate Always, was also highlighted this week in a feature article on TMCnet focused on the benefits call recording provides for businesses looking to ensure quality and reduce liability.

During an exclusive interview with TMCnet, Kate Haley, chief marketing officer at the company noted their system is unique because, “We work within the customer’s network topology and work with any phone systems they may have.” See that video interview HERE.

Finally, more discussions around the improvements in employee performance provided with enterprise call recording solutions were discussed in this feature article.

According to the article, call recording is one way call center managers can tackle the problem of monitoring reps when listening to every call is not practical. CallCopy’s (News - Alert) cc: Screen software is one option. That’s all for this week, be sure to check back with TMCnet throughout the week for the latest in Enterprise Call Recording news as it happens.
