CTI Group (News - Alert), a provider of mobile and landline telecommunications services, has announced the release of its Trader Compliance Suite, a software package intended to help businesses comply with Dodd-Frank regulations.
“The Trader Compliance Suite uniquely positions us in the market because of our long historic association with the analysis of Trader Voice,” CTI Group's head of product Trevor Davis said. “The Suite provides an integrated set of products that help financially regulated companies meet their compliance obligations. The products can also be deployed as standalone solutions, for example where companies have existing call recording solutions and wish to add detail accounting and speech analytics capabilities.”
The law, formally titled The Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, was an attempt to prevent another financial crisis like the one that happened in 2007-08 from happening again. One of its provisions of the bill that was signed into law by President Obama in 2010 was to require companies trading in financial markets to keep detailed records of all their communications. The Trader Compliance Suite is intended to help businesses make it easier to comply with the law.
The suite includes three programs: SmartRecord, SmartListen and Proteus (News - Alert) Trader. SmartRecord is CTI’s call recording package. SmartListen records and stores calls, indexing them phonetically for later retrieval. Proteus Trader provides detailed analysis of voice services used on trading floors, including private lines, turrets and PBXes. The software also has the ability to detect potential fraud and monitor voice quality.
The programs can be packaged together in a bundle or purchased individually for businesses that only need one or two of the components instead of the whole suite.
CTI also recently launched version 7.1 of its Proteus call accounting software for use with mobile, PBX (News - Alert) and VoIP systems and includes a configurable dashboard that allows users to completely customize how the information is displayed.
