TeleWare Offers Indefinite Mobile Call Recording Storage

TeleWare (News - Alert), a provider of communications solutions for the mobile business, recently enhanced its mobile call recording service, which enables cloud-based recording of all calls to or from mobile phones. The change, which was prompted by customer feedback, will provide system administrators with the option to store select recordings indefinitely.

"FSA regulations dictate that call recordings and SMS messages should be held for 185 days and this is included as standard in all our mobile compliance products," said Daniel Hensby, product manager for the TeleWare Mobile products division, in a statement. "There may be situations where our customers need to store specific recordings for longer than this obligatory time period, however. This new feature means that, by selecting one or more call recordings and then the new Litigation Hold button, the selected recordings are held automatically beyond the initial 185 days."

TeleWare's call recording services allow businesses and organizations to easily record all incoming and outgoing calls for any number of purposes, while their hosted nature makes them an ideal choice for businesses of any size. All calls are automatically routed for recording with no setup delays or workarounds necessary. The company's mobile call recording service even encompasses SMS messaging and is completely FSA compliant.

Choosing to store call recordings and/or SMS messages beyond the mandatory 185 days will result in additional storage charges.

Last year, TeleWare updated its SIP trunking solution with two new enhancements, the first of which being Failover resilience. This allows businesses to manage the risk of PBX (News - Alert) or lease line failure. The second enhancement was the addition of call recording, enabling all calls on the trunk to be recorded with all the security and features of the company's standard call recording services.

Also last year, TeleWare launched Mobile Direct Connect, connecting mobile telephone networks to on-premise telephony equipment for a complete mobile and fixed-line call recording solution.
