UberConference On the Go

By Robbie Pleasant, TMCnet Contributor

Android (News - Alert) and iOS users are getting a gift from UberConference. The mobile conferencing solution is releasing new apps for both systems, providing better and easier conference calls for workers on the go.

The apps provide the same features as the Web version, allowing users to add people to calls, mute the line, record calls, and much more. This will extend the range of users, as well as usage, for UberConference, providing its excellent conferencing capabilities to more people around the world.

Even people who tend to hate conference calling often appreciate UberConference. Its ease of use, range of capabilities, and general usefulness make it a great choice for those who have to deal with more conference calls than they’d like, or even any amount of conference calls at all.

“With the modern worker being mobile much of the time and dependent on their devices to conduct traditional business functions, we knew that it was important to give them all the tools and functionality of UberConference in a slick app for their smart phones,” says Craig Walker, CEO of Firespotter (News - Alert) Labs, creators of UberConference. “Now a user can be anywhere and quickly start an UberConference by clicking a few names from their address book. UberConference will dial out to each of the parties and bring them into an instant conference call.”

This goes along with the introduction of a new enterprise-class version of UBerConference, the UberConference Business. The business edition can support up to 40 people on a single call, with outbound dialing, call recording, dedicated support, and more features designed to make conferencing easy and convenient. This is in addition to all the normal features, from social networking integration to “earmuffs” for private conversations.

UberConference has always been a great conferencing solution, so the iOS and Android apps should prove useful for workers on the go. With all the features it has to offer, packed into a simple and intuitive user interface, it’s a great choice for those who need to make or join conference calls frequently.
