Calabrio's Call Recording Solution: Sustainable, Scalable and Reliable

By Jody Ray Bennett, TMCnet Contributing Writer

Calabrio (News - Alert), a company specializing in analytics and workforce optimization, recently released details of improvements made to its call recording solutions. These enhancements offer compliance recording, analytics, and quality controls for contact center and enterprise customers. By reducing costs, these enhancements allow customers to support less infrastructure and grow more easily. Calabrio's call recording platform operates with tripled efficiency. In addition, the total cost of ownership is lowered, resulting in money savings for greater reliability.

Calabrio's call recording platform is sustainable, reliable and scalable, adding flexibility to customers' current calling systems. "What other vendors have approached by adding servers and complicated network configurations, Calabrio has attacked through a smarter software and design architecture,” said Calabrio's vice president of development for Calabrio, Brian Humenansky, in a recent report. By focusing on scalability, Calabrio's platforms grow with the companies that use them.

Advantages to Calabrio's new platform include tripled efficiency in concurrent recordings, reliability during server failovers via signaling enhancements, support for fault tolerance through improved core service redundancy, and rich context metadata for recorded calls. These improvements allow enterprise customers the ability to use Calabrio's platform even in the event of service failures.

Calabrio's capturing options, three of which include single center, multisite center or home agents, have long been a boon for customers, allowing them to record calls in a way best suited to their business needs. Gateway (News - Alert) recording, another option in Calabrio's platform, provides a means of capturing calls over complex enterprise systems. With Calabrio's newest release, robust recordings are possible with every capture method, providing the ability to associate multi-leg calls and IVR interactions, as well as tying together calls with specific metadata.

These new enhancements will be merged into the Calabrio ONE suite, offering greater versatility to suite customers. The release itself will be available Calabrio, accessible through its site at www.calabrio.com.
