When properly designed and executed, enterprise solutions are clear to offer efficiency, cost savings and operational performances throughout the organization. These strategies offer capabilities into business strategies that optimize the use of an open dialogue between partners and stakeholders.
With its partners, Panduit can offer a comprehensive and holistic way of unifying the infrastructure for the most optimal and convergence solutions are implemented, according to a recent Panduit report. One clear take away from the featured case study: Panduit enterprise solutions are specifically designed with the business mind.
The company’s ultimate solution, the Unified Operations Center (UOC) was created as a living example of the way a company can use their UPI directive to collaborate between all business systems and provide a clearer perspective into real-time information for building operations.
Innovation is key, and Panduit has been able to be the first of its kind to develop a truly centralized operations center with the UOC. This project combined not only the network, but the building and all its security functions. Plus, it’s all integrated and housed under the same roof at the Panduit World Headquarters.
There are obvious enterprise solutions when the Network Operations Center and Security Operations Center are unified. Panduit is able to monitor and secure all of its global facilities from a single location through the integration management of its World Headquarters network. This allows information to be connected and shared throughout the entire application, which can only enhance the operational response and awareness.
Panduit enterprise solutions are capable of combining infrastructure and physical consecutiveness as well as convergence of the logical and physical systems across a universal network. The Security Solution Strategy was created to help businesses leverage their IP connection with modern technology, which builds a more centralized security operation.
Because this is a part of the UOC, management can easily monitor and quickly respond to any important events at any and all of the remote locations through video monitoring. Depending on the event, Panduit can respond using a local representative. Workplace safety is increased using this safe and reliable network service and covers all infrastructure, programming and software.
Panduit had clear and strategic objectives in mind when developing this enterprise solution. They wanted to be able to integrate the company’s World Headquarters networks and its on-premise security systems while enabling and benefiting its remote locations as well. This enterprise solution would greatly reduce the redundancy and isolation of the separate operational centers as well as servers and other networking systems.
