Gaining Full Control of Transactions Traversing Enterprise Application Systems with FactFinder v7

BlueStripe Software has announced the availability of FactFinder v7. The one of its kind software solution is the first ever transaction performance and availability monitoring solution to keep record of each transaction across enterprise application systems without having to add or write any new application code. The software also features TransactionLink technology that automatically tails all transactions throughout the traverse of the infrastructure.


This transaction-monitoring tool can trail transactions across web tiers, application servers, databases, middleware, private clouds and hybrid clouds. In addition to this, it follows slow transaction up to their problematic components before inspecting that specific server stack to identify the core cause of the performance or availability hitch.

FactFinder v7 also gives automatic identification of bottlenecks, visibility into complicated middleware to calibrate the true round-trip response time and business payload tracking to get the critical details in a transaction request.

The three specific capabilities of the software are a transaction explorer with automatic bottleneck detection, support for complex messaging middleware and transaction payload tracking. The transaction explorer views a transaction path to show its exact components and systems it went through hence identifying where it spent the most time while the support for middleware is adaptable to any communication protocol and tracks transactions to give the actual round trip response time for requests.

On the other hand, the business transaction payload tracking record all information during transactions such as business-relevant information like IP address or user name and diagnostically applicable information like SQL statements.

Chris Neal, chief executive officer at BlueStripe, acknowledges the fact that IT support teams use a wide range of component-specific tools for system analysis, which leave them blind to transactions traversing their enterprise application systems.
