Panduit and Pentair Partner on Control Panel Systems

There’s plenty of complexity in the enterprise, which is where Panduit and its physical infrastructure solutions come into play.

Panduit focuses on unified physical infrastructure-based solutions that bring together technologies and partners to create streamlined, best-of-class infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers.

Panduit and one of its partners, Pentair, have just announced that that they will be taking this unified physical infrastructure approach to control panels in industrial automation networks and control systems.

The partnership will see Panduit and Pentair Equipment Protection’s Hoffman (News - Alert) brand leverage the quality, service and innovation of the two brands to provide best-in-class control panels, according to an article in Heraldonline.com.

Pentair Equipment Protection provides product and service solutions for enclosing, protecting and cooling electrical and electronic systems through its three brands – Hoffman, McLean and Schroff. The company provides a wide variety of standard, modified and engineered solutions to the commercial, communications, energy, general electronics, industrial, infrastructure, medical and security and defense markets.

Panduit develops leading-edge solutions that connect, manage and automate the physical infrastructure.

Among its many partners, Panduit has strategic alliances with global firms such as Cisco, IBM and Rockwell Automation (News - Alert).

The partnership will bring together Panduit’s panel expertise and Pentair’s electrical enclosure and cooling solutions provide to improve six key areas.

These six areas include improvements in optimum performance, space optimization, regulatory compliance, safe and secure access, rapid deployment and lower installed cost, according to the Heraldonline.com article.
