Service Providers Adjust to Varying Market Requirements Using Frameworx

With the rising competition, service providers across the globe have opted for TM Forum’s (News - Alert) Frameworx suite of best practices and standards. Service providers are therefore able to simplify their business, ensure margins and decrease time-to-market for scalable digital services.

TM Forum has also unveiled an improved version of Frameworx. The latest version, Frameworx 12.5, offers 60 novel features to assist service providers in enhancing main operational proficiency arenas like cyber-security, customer experience, revenue administration and data analytics – among others.

According to the recent Frameworx Adoption Survey carried out by TM Forum, a majority of organizations are utilizing Frameworx for enhancing their operations and IT. Frameworx also assists organizations in rapidly developing, implementing and monetizing the latest services.

Frameworx 12.5 has been developed with exhaustive assistance from 200 members. The latest release comprises new guidebooks, models and tools for furthering service delivery. Novel methods for measuring business performance through KPIs and maturity models are also included.

Associates of TM Forum will be able to address their changing requirements for resolving an array of business issues like decreasing expenses and risks, and escalating IT and operations foundations, with the ongoing improvements on Frameworx.

In a statement, Martin Creaner, president and CEO at TM Forum said, “Frameworx reduces IT and operational cost, and eases integration efforts which ultimately result in agile platforms – and explains why 83 percent of our survey respondents are telling us that Frameworx plays an important role in enabling the deployment of new services. The features we’ve included in Frameworx 12.5 are strongly focused on core areas such as CEM, cyber-security and revenue management, which help service providers take advantage of market opportunities—no matter where they are in their digital services journey.”

“These enhancements are the next stage in TM Forum’s mission to provide the industry with the necessary tools to create, launch and manage services today and tomorrow,” he said.

The latest release of Frameworx also includes features like multi-cloud administration, customer experience management (CEM), revenue administration, supervising associations, security administration and product lifecycle management.

Three main frameworks, namely Business Process Framework, eTOM; Information Framework, SID; and Application Framework, TAM, comprise the best practices and standards for TM Forum Frameworx.
