Even as the festive season begins, the fervor remains the same in the enterprise solutions community, evident from better products, improved solutions and collaborative efforts and services announced this past week in the enterprise solutions space.

This week, OneStream Networks selected Bandwidth’s inetwork as its single source for VoIP E9-1-1 coverage in the U.S. and Canada, as well as for voice origination services.

As reported by TMCnet contributor Raju Shanbhag, inetwork is the only 9-1-1 provider of nationwide voice and SMS services.

Commenting on this partnership, Steve Leonard, executive vice president and general manager of inetwork, said, “We thrive on innovation and helping market leaders deliver a better product to their customers, even during Hurricane Sandy, where our 9-1-1 network remained 100 percent operational for OneStream and all of our 9-1-1 customers.”

Likewise, to ensure margins with decreased time to market for scalable digital services, service providers across the globe are tapping the benefits of TM Forum’s Frameworx suite of best practices and standards. For that, TM Forum has unveiled an improved version of Frameworx, the Frameworx 12.5. It offers 60 novel features to assist service providers in enhancing main operational proficiency arenas like cyber-security, customer experience, revenue administration and data analytics among others, according to the report.

TMCnet also reported Massive Dynamics’ efforts to spearhead the development of products and technology for the upcoming Web 4.0 evolution, which represents the most lucrative phase in the history of the Internet and associated "smart" electronics.

According to the report, Web 4.0 will bring more powerful interfaces like ambient intelligence, webOS and artificial intelligence.

In other news, TMCnet contributor Jyothi Shanbhag reported that Edinburgh International Conference Center (EICC), which accommodates 200,000 visitors a year, recently adapted ADTRAN’s Wi-Fi network virtualization architecture as part of its major facility expansion and renovation upgrade project.

As per this report, EICC selected ADTRAN’s Bluesocket virtual wireless LAN (vWLAN) solution after a thorough evaluation.

Meanwhile, to accommodate more customers, EICC is expanding into a new building with multi-purpose hall, additional break-out rooms and a new delegate café.

Lastly, TMCnet contributor Jayashree Adkoli highlighted the emergence of SuperMicro’s new line of ultra high performance "Hyper-Speed" servers for high-frequency trading (HFT) and low-latency applications.

That’s all for this week. Tune in next week for even more developments in Enterprise Solutions.
