Kontagent Launches App Analytics on iPhone, iPad for Executive Clients

Kontagent, a reputable user analytics platform for mobile and social Web, recently launched a set of applications for the iPhone (News - Alert) and iPad, catering to executive clients on the go.
The company identified that several executive heads wanted to keep track of the key performance indicators throughout the day, and even when they are not present at their desks. At the same time, executives wanted to feed their mobile analytics system via an application designed for their business needs.
With this view, Kontagent launched its scalable and intuitive mobile application analytics on the iPhone and iPad, helping executives to keep in touch with their business and track the key performance areas continuously on the go. The application is absolutely free, and grants clients of Kontagent insight into unique visitors, average mobile session length, mobile application downloads, average revenue per user, and mobile marketing campaign performance.
The application reveals all the data in selected categories, helping executive clients to better analyze and evaluate consumer behavior, and download patterns and revenue. The core manipulation and functionalities, however, are limited to desktop products, whereas iPhone and iPad applications only give a standard top-level look.
Kontagent chief executive officer, Jeff Tseng, stated that the company is proud to target the niche executive clients with these iPhone and iPad programs.
Above 50 percent of Kontagent’s new clients are professional mobile game developers.
As unlike other user analytics companies, Kontagent is particularly focused on professional game development, and has around 200 top free and premium game developers, including Nexon, EA and Kixeye, among their clientele.
Kontagent presents a standard free version to mobile developers, in partnership with Tapjoy. The premium version of the application requires real-time custom enterprise deals.
Established just five years ago, Kontagent has successfully earned more than $17.5 million in only two venture rounds, led by Battery Ventures and Altos Ventures. The ventures have not yet reached the level of being profitable, but include 120 employees.
According to Tseng, SaaS (News - Alert) companies must invest considerably in sales and marketing, but since this is a recurring business model, they can easily make up revenue over a period of time.
Kontagent is a major user analytics platform for marketers, developers, strategic partners, and product managers across the mobile and social Web. The company’s kSuite mobile app analytics provides deeper social data pattern analysis and visualization for businesses.
