SfL+a Architects, a firm designed to provide state-of-the-art architectural solutions to educational institutions, has announced that its telecommunications infrastructure designer, Brian Williams, has recently been given Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
RCDD certification is recognized within the telecommunications industry as a designation of the exceptional qualifications of an individual, and is the gold standard in expertise regarding the design and installation of information transport systems including data, audio, visual and surveillance. Williams is part of SfL+a Architects’ team and is currently in the Fort Bragg area, managing design, construction administration, inspection and commissioning experience.
“Brian has been an excellent addition to SfL+a Architects and we are proud he has received such a prestigious certification in his field,” said Robbie Ferris, president and CEO for the firm. “His extensive knowledge of technological design makes him a worthy recipient and we are honored to have him as part of our team.”
“As architects, we seek to understand and capture the intent of each client and translate their needs into aesthetically pleasing and highly functional spaces,” said Williams. “The RCDD certification will help enhance my specialty in the design process to ensure that the buildings we design perform well in all technological aspects.”
