This week was a busy one in Enterprise Solutions, so let’s dive right in.
Dane-Elec (News - Alert) has recently revealed its “my-Ditto” network storage for enterprise. The unveiling took place at this week’s CES (News - Alert) 2013, concluding today in Las Vegas. The my-Ditto will be an all-inclusive storage solution, so users will be able to store, access and manage their digital assets from anywhere with any device.
"We are honored to again be selected as a CES Innovations Award honoree for our my-Ditto digital storage solution," said Sarit Lamerovich, vice president of marketing at Dane-Elec. "Consumers have become increasingly overwhelmed by growing amounts of their digital assets with smartphone’s, tablets, digital cameras and computers. my-Ditto brings everything together with one easy-to-use and share solution."
In Motion technology recently announced that it will offer its mobile enterprise network system in America and Canada. Partnered with Georgia-based Mobile Installation technologies, enterprises in North America will be able to enjoy In Motion’s reliable, secure, and easy to use systems.
"We have installed In Motion's system in several fleets to date, and have seen first-hand how both the technology and hardware are engineered for the rigors of the mobile environment," said Dave Flower, Mobile's National Business Director. "We are proud to be selected as In Motion's installation partner, and look forward to working with the company and its clients."
In other news, Leap Frog Services, Inc. and ADTRAN (News - Alert) have announced a partnership to deliver a cloud-based hosted Wi-Fi service. Using ADTRAN’s Bluesocket virtual WLAN solution, the solution will be able to centralize management, enabling it to control wireless access from remote locations.
"When selecting a wireless LAN platform, ADTRAN was an immediate contender because the company is at the forefront of the vWLAN trend. Additionally, the company continues to show a clear commitment to the channel and MSPs specifically, offers a broad and robust product line that aligns well with our existing strategy, and caters to our customers' needs at a palatable price," said Emmett Hawkins, CTO for Leapfrog Services, Inc.
