Tata Enhances Partnership with AT&T

Tata Communications (News - Alert) has taken a step that could make it a telecommunications company to be reckoned with in the very near future. The company has actually taken quite a few steps in the last several months to strengthen its standing in its little corner of the business sector such as revamping its false answer algorithm to be that much more accurate. Tata has also forged partnerships with some of the biggest and the best companies in the tech sector by joining the cloud signaling coalition that was put together by Arbor Networks. Now, the company has forged a new interconnection agreement with AT&T (News - Alert).
In a statement discussing the partnership, the company revealed the strategic alliance would allow it to have “even more face-to-face collaboration around the world, across each respective network.” Tata’s Global Meeting Exchange is a network solution that powers real-time meetings from one end of the globe to another and is a solution that has been in place among the world’s biggest providers for quite a while now.
Peter Quinlan, vice president, Integrated Business Video Services, Tata Communications heralded the continuing devotion to putting together the strongest communications network that this partnership signifies. He stated, “To help the telecoms industry meet the requirements of enterprises as the growth of business video continues, there needs to be collaboration and openness amongst service providers, the creation of an open ecosystem in which service providers align and interconnect their respective business video communities will allow enterprise customers to receive not only the best service possible, but it will also give them unprecedented reach to other Telepresence (News - Alert) rooms around the world, enabling them to embrace video as a daily business communication tool.
“The agreement with AT&T is the latest step in our strategy to make business video a truly global collaboration tool for enterprises, regardless of network, service provider or location.” Quinlan concluded.
