Besides announcing partner programs, enterprise solutions vendors were busy showing Wi-Fi access points (APs) and LTE test platforms this past week. In addition, new products were also introduced.
Speaking of partner programs, Emerson Network Power joined the HP AllianceONE Partner Program as a member, reported TMCnet contributor Jyothi Shanbhag. As per this report, the AllianceONE Partner Program helps partners develop and deliver solutions across a wide array of specializations—including the cloud, business intelligence, management, security, hosting, storage management, networking and many more.
Also, the report indicates that HP offers all AllianceONE members aggressive discounts on HP products for development, demo and testing purposes. Emerson Network Power (News - Alert) said that by joining the HP AllianceONE Partner Program, they are helping customers simplify and accelerate the deployment of new voice and video services consistent with the HP Converged Infrastructure strategy.
In another report, contributor Anamika Singh reported that Ruckus Wireless (News - Alert) has announced its new ZoneFlex 7982 smart Wi-Fi access point (AP), which was part of an enterprise Wi-Fi stress test study performed and published by Wireless LAN Professionals Inc. (WLAN Pros) based in Orem, Utah.
The WLAN Pros study found that ZoneFlex 7982 delivers consistent performance and maintains stable connections within high-capacity environments and to smart mobile devices that constantly change their location and orientation, wrote Singh.
After thoroughly assessing all available LTE functional and load testing solutions in the market, Axxcelera Broadband (News - Alert) Wireless selected the MOBIPASS portfolio of LTE eNodeB test products from ERCOM, reported TMCnet contributor Carolyn J. Dawson.
The report quotes a statement from Axxcelera CEO Jamal Hamdani, who said, “We were very impressed by the speed with which ERCOM (News - Alert) connected MOBIPASS to our eNodeB and did the first call. We could see the quality of their product as well as their skilled technical support. Now we are using it every day in different test configurations.”
Similarly, TMCnet contributor Shamila Janakiraman reported that Oracle (News
- Alert) has released a new version of its Oracle Communications Operations Support Systems (OSS) suite. The report shows that the expanded Oracle Communications OSS suite can be configured for the Oracle Communications Network Resource Management solution to help communications service providers (CSPs) to plan, build and transform networks.
