As part of the strategic partnership between Mocapay, a provider of mobile and contactless electronic commerce and eNational Payments, a Mocapay (News - Alert)-enabled “Mobile Wallet” and eNational’s location-based, geo-fencing platform has been deployed at select Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant locations, which delivers on the importance of mobile marketing and loyalty programs for merchants across all business verticals.
In a press release, Sean Kumar, CEO of eNational Payments, said, “We wanted to improve the way restaurants do business and enhance the customer experience. We believe expanding into the mobile space is the best way to do this. Our goal at eNational Payments is to get people to remember our merchant’s products and their brand, and to fully engage with them before, during and after a transaction.”
Select Maggiano locations are being used to conduct the test launch, whereby eNational Payments will deploy a geo-fencing platform within a two-mile radius around each location. As a virtual perimeter that monitors the dimensions of user’s location, Geo-fencing, also referred as location-based marketing helps ensure relevant messages are transmitted as per consumer’s preference based on location. In addition to the innovative platform, Mocapay’s mobile suite will also be offered to Maggiano’s customers to advertise loyalty and gift coupons. Customers can make use of the eNational Payments “Gold Rewards” Mobile Wallet to pay, as well as reload mobile accounts. Customer equipped with mobile phones can also check transaction histories, receive customized, pertinent loyalty and reward offers and search for the nearest Maggiano’s store locations.
In a statement, Kevin Grieve, CEO of Mocapay, said, “Our mobile marketing suite hits the sweet spot for merchants so they can build their brand and develop smart and effective marketing strategies that move well beyond mobile payments. Mocapay solves the “last mile” problem to deliver closed loop marketing ROI that provides measurable data to merchants and marketers through an embedded marketing engine so merchants can maximize exposure and ultimately improve the bottom line.”
According to Kumar, mobiles being the most effective next-generation channel to communicate with consumers, the on-going implementation will ensure 360 degree level of engagement involving both the merchant as well as the consumer. eNational Payment offers ALL-IN-ONE payment transaction processing solutions serving the financial services industry, card issuing banks, acquiring or merchant banks, ISO’s and retailers.
