Webs Announces the DudaMobile App for Best-in-class Mobile User Experience
Webs, Inc., the world’s largest website building solution, introduced the DudaMobile app, a mobile website application that seamlessly gives any website a best-in-class mobile user experience on any smartphone.
This application can be used by small business owners and entrepreneurs to create highly tailored, dynamic mobile websites based on their existing websites in seconds.
“The new mobile website builder gives more than 50 million Webs users a quick, easy, and cost-effective solution for going mobile. We are excited to add DudaMobile to our extensive line of applications designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs build their online presence and, in turn, grow their traffic and customer base,” said Touraj Parang, VP of Strategy and Corporate Development at Webs, in a press release.
To access the Internet1, more people are expected to use mobile devices than PCs, by December 2013. Website owners are creating mobile-optimized versions of their sites to reach this growing audience. In fact, the number of mobile-ready websites has grown a whopping 2000 percent since 2008.
Traffic, through a mobile internet presence is boosted by 13 percent compared to PC-only driven traffic3. And, the amount of mobile data traffic, over the next five years, is expected to grow 40-fold4. To take advantage of this growth in mobile usage, Webs’ new mobile-website builder enables Webs users to easily create a made-for-mobile website that automatically syncs with updates made to the existing site.
“The automatic sync feature between the original website and the mobile website is one of our unique differentiators. It means zero maintenance of the mobile site for Webs users,” noted Itai Sadan, co-founder and CEO of DudaMobile, in a press release.
The web users, after installing the DudaMobile application, have the option to choose from a selection of professional-looking templates to closely match the look and feel of their existing site. They can easily change the mobile site’s logo, text color and background.
As the mobile site will include the entire standard Webs features, including photos, videos, blogs, forums and calendars, mobile site visitors will have a dynamic and engaging experience.
One-third of mobile web searches, according to Google (News
- Alert), involve some aspect of the searcher’s local environment5. Businesses, with the help of these Premium features will be able to take advantage of local searches. The “click-to-call” phone number widget will help convert mobile traffic into paying customers. A business address with mobile map widget on the site’s home page opens Google Maps so site visitors can easily find the physical location of the business.
In technology related news, Digital Web announced that the "Free Small Business Web Builder Program" will extend until March 1, 2011.
