The launch of Skyfire 3.0 with Facebook Connect for Android (News - Alert) 2.0 and higher devices has been announced by Skyfire. An entirely new way to experience the mobile Internet, geared to the needs of the social networking generation is ushered in by the company with this release. Award-winning browser for mobile devices is made by Skyfire.


The true power of Facebook (News - Alert) will be made available to the Android device by Skyfire. The latest version will allow easy streaming of videos shared from friends and quick news feed access. The most popular ‘liked’ articles on any site can be seen in an easy manner with this latest release.

Nearly two million users use the Skyfire (News - Alert) for Android. The SkyBar was launched by the earlier versions of Skyfire. Users are able to watch video, view related content, and easily share content with friends with the cloud-powered toolbar, SkyBar. The social integration is now taken to the next level with the latest version, Skyfire 3.0. Facebook is now directly integrated into the SkyBar.

Every page of the internet will have Facebook’s Social Graph and Like Button seamlessly integrated by Skyfire 3.0 with Facebook Connect. Users can quickly check their Facebook Page with a single click. They can “Like” or share any Internet content and also see the most “liked” content on any site recommended by their friends. Videos and other Facebook links posted by friends can also be seamlessly viewed.

The most popular content on Facebook can be viewed with the ‘Popular’ button present in Skyfire 3.0 with Facebook Connect. The latest release also provides a simple tool, Fireplace Feed Reader. A filtered list of the user’s Facebook feed is provided with this tool.

The latest version also provides single touch access to Facebook feed, profile and fast-growing location service Places with Facebook Portal Integration. Skyfire OneTouch Search is another key feature of Skyfire 3.0.
