Acision, a major player in mobile data, has named Chris Jenkins as the company’s new executive vice president and managing director for the Asia Pacific region.
Jenkins, based in Singapore, will play a role in driving business growth for Asia Pacific including the Japanese markets. Before his appointment to the region, Jenkins worked as the executive vice president of Acision's (News - Alert) Mobile Data Charging Business Unit, and CMO for the company. Working in this profile, he led corporate marketing, the market development activities and helped deliver innovative charging solutions to the global mobile operator market.
With more than 25 years of experience in the retail and technology sectors, Jenkins has a wealth of experience in merger and acquisitions, marketing and developing growth markets. He has also held leadership positions with Openwave, Bytemobile and Ericsson.
