Independent mobile advertising network Greystripe announced its plan to cross the Atlantic. The company is partnering with European ad networks – including Hi-media Advertising, madvertise and Mobile Ventures –for its popular rich media ads to European smartphone users.
Under the partnership, Greystripe will offer its entire product suite to European advertisers, including its rich media Immersion and Flash ad units. The partnerships have earned the company over 50 campaigns with marquee brands across every European country, including the U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, according to a company press release.
“We’re excited to partner with Greystripe, and offer its rich media ads and premium inventory to a European audience. These new formats and creatives are very appealing, and thus attract new advertisers and increase their communication performance,” head of Hi-media Advertising Olivier Gonzalez noted in a statement.
Greystripe brings its rich media ads to Germany through the collaboration with madvertise, which happens to be the leading network for mobile banner ads in German-speaking markets.
According to the CEO of madvertise, Carsten Frien, rich media ads are increasingly becoming one of the most sought after parts of any multi-media advertising campaign, as they help achieve above-average click-through-rates.
“We value the above-average click-through-rates their rich media ads achieve, and we see demand for these ads skyrocketing in the German market. Our clients consider rich media ads as a must-have in their mobile media mix,” Frien stated.
“We are impressed with the results of our mobile campaign for EFD - London Boulevard with Mobile Ventures and Greystripe. The rich media ads delivered an engaging experience of our brand to the fingertips of our target audience,” Simon Jones of Mediacom UK reiterated the words of Gonzalez and Frien.
Last month, Greystripe, announced a strategic partnership with Media Networks, Inc, a Time Inc. (News - Alert) Company serving geo- and demo-targeted marketing, to grab shares in the burgeoning mobile local ad market.
