Xata will integrate and resell ZoomSafer's award-winning software, FleetSafer Mobile and FleetSafer Vision.

Both can be customized to a fleet’s specific mobile phone policies, according to Xata and ZoomSafer.

Xata specializes in trucking compliance and fleet optimization software, and ZoomSafer provides enterprise software to prevent distracted driving.

FleetSafer Mobile can enforce a fleet’s safe-driving policies and run alongside Xata Turnpike on mobile and smartphones. FleetSafer Vision is a software reporting tool that can leverage telematics data in conjunction with phone records and email services to measure and report to fleet managers the information they need to identify at-risk drivers.

Xata expects its clients will also benefit from FleetSafer Vision.

Christian has also worked as president and CEO of Norstan, Inc., senior vice president of finance of Ceridian Corporation and as CFO of Automatic Data Processing’s (News - Alert) Electronic Services Division.
