RADVISION to Demonstrate at InfoComm 2011

RADVISION Ltd., a technology company focused in unified visual communications solutions, revealed that it will be demonstrating its new SCOPIA Telepresence Platform along with the SCOPIA Control application for the Apple (News - Alert) iPad at InfoComm 2011.

Held annually, InfoComm is aimed at professionals in the audiovisual, information communications and systems integration industries, the opportunity to explore. InfoComm 2011 will be held from June 15th to 17th at the Orange (News - Alert) County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

RADVISION said that its demonstration will also feature its solutions including SCOPIA Desktop, SCOPIA Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync, and SCOPIA Mobile - currently the only iPhone (News - Alert) and iPad application to share enterprise-grade audio, video and standards-based data.

Bob Romano, RADVISION’s vice president of Enterprise Marketing, will also be participating in three IMCCA expert panels covering collaboration, HD telepresence and social networking. Additionally, Robin Raulf-Sager (News - Alert), RADVISION director of Communications for the Americas will be moderating the Social Media & Social Networking in the Collaboration Industry.

RADVISION has been offering video conferencing and unified communications solutions - from mobile devices to desktops, conference rooms and fully immersive telepresence suites. The company’s portfolio of standards-based video systems enables interconnectivity across new and traditional video endpoints regardless of UC platform or device.

Recently, Adi Sfadia, the company’s CFO, and Robert Romano, vice president of Enterprise Marketing, presented at the New York Society of Security Analysts’ 2011 Microcap Technology Innovators Conference in New York City.  

Earlier in April, 2011, RADVISION announced SCOPIA Mobile V3, the first enterprise application for Apple iOS and Google Android (News - Alert) devices. This unique mobile application allows mobile users to connect with full video, audio and H.239 data collaboration to the nearly 2 million installed standards-based video conferencing and telepresence systems worldwide. SCOPIA Mobile V3 is based on RADVISION’s BEEHD client framework for easily developing HD video-enabled applications across many platforms.

Also, RADVISION selected IDT’s RapidIO switch for its video conferencing system.
