ViryaNet (News
- Alert), offering mobile workforce management solutions, has successfully completed ViryaVision 2011 – its annual company-sponsored conference for customers and partners. According to the company, the conference helped attendees to share experiences and network with colleagues and peers.
Attendees heard about the successful integration of the ViryaNet G4 platform with the Intalio Business Process Management (BPM) tool and the recently delivered Smart Meter Solution as part of the ViryaNet Roadmap from Memy Ish-Shalom, ViryaNet CEO.
Apart from discussing how partners and customers continue to be a vital part of the process, other innovations in the areas of scheduling, dispatch management, mobility, and new applications planned for 2011 and beyond.
“We are working closely with our customers and partners throughout the year, helping service organizations achieve measurable business value. The annual ViryaVision conference continues to be the center stage for sharing ideas and experiences and as in the past proved to be highly valuable to our community" stated Jim Robidoux, Vice President of Customer Care and coordinator of the event.
This was the first time where attendees could join hands-on sessions and experience firsthand the richness and ease of use of the ViryaNet extensibility framework. The full life cycle of ViryaNet innovations was demonstrated in this year's conference. It started from active brainstorming roundtables, moved to roadmap updates and preliminary design concept presentations, and ended with recent deliverables, hands on experience, and users' success stories.
In August 2009, the company announced that Wannon Water had selected ViryaNet for call taking, dispatch and case management in its systems maintenance branch. Wannon Water made this selection in order to facilitate its strategic plan to achieve operational excellence through improvements in customer service, accuracy of reporting and improvements in data collection. As a whole, the project was expected to benefit field crews through the provision of access to corporate systems and information.
