A joint venture, Avema Critical Wireless (or ACW), has been announced by Avema Corporation and Mission Critical Wireless (News - Alert). Mid-size and large companies will be now offered mobile management as a complete full-service offering through this joint venture. Some important clients, including a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company, are already being provided these services by ACW.
More than 130 professionals and seasoned mobility experts are employed by ACW. Many decades of hands-on experience of working with devices and software from every major vendor in the mobile marketplace is represented by the combined resources of the joint venture. ACW is trusted by top vendors for review and feedback on new products. The company's deep technical expertise is also relied upon by ACW clients. Critical mobile strategy decisions for the clients will receive guidance from ACW.
In a release, Dan Croft, who is the CEO of Mission Critical Wireless, said, “As smartphones and tablets become more powerful, they can dramatically increase workforce productivity and engagement, but this means that there’s an urgent need to properly secure sensitive corporate data contained on these devices, more need for technical support, and more need to contain mobile costs.”
According to Croft, an opportunity to leverage the relationships and experience of two industry experts is presented by ACW. A holistic suite of services can therefore be provided by Mission Critical to its clients.
According to Roger Yang, who is the CEO of Avema, multiple mobile platforms and equipment such as iPads, PlayBooks, and Android (News - Alert) devices have increased complexity for companies. Additional help is therefore needed by these companies to get the most value from their mobile investment.
Yang said, “To achieve optimal performance, businesses are looking to move away from the ad hoc handling of mobility that distracts from their core competencies, and instead rely on expert support.”
Avema (News - Alert) is a pioneer in telecom and wireless expense management. Hundreds of organizations like Suncor, RBC, and Spectra Energy have received help from Avema. For more information on Avema, visit www.avema.com.
