Pantech Wireless Inc., the U.S.-based subsidiary of Pantech Group, a Korea-based mobile phone manufacturer, announced that the breEZe III, the third installment in its line of phones, is now available.

Erin Magee, director of marketing for Pantech Wireless said in a release, “The breEZe series is one of our most successful lines of handsets. Customers of all ages and needs appreciate breEZe’s intuitive and easy to use feature set. We’re excited to extend the series with breEZe III, which includes new highlights that allow for added flexibility and expanded convenience.”

The first model of the breEZe series was unveiled in 2008 and it served as a key solution for simplicity-seeking audiences. The advanced features of noise suppression, voice recognition, and other useful tools for everyday use included in the breEZe III are expected to offer more convenience and more ways of communication for users.

The devices are characterized by streamlined and simplified ways which allow users to stay in touch and manage their lives. The breEZe III also features Quick Call Keys, “breEZe” or “Advanced” mode menu options, a bright screen, large buttons and display text like its predecessors.

The new features added to the device are noise suppression which is an advanced technology that allows for the handset to filter out background noise, delivering higher sound quality when listening to calls. The voice recognition feature allows users to leverage the hands-free feature to draft messages, start an application, and make calls using voice commands.

Officials said that the tip calculator is operated by typing in the total amount of a bill into this easily accessible calculator with which users can determine how much they want to tip for services. The stopwatch feature helps in the measurement of the duration of activities besides offering a countdown to help users manage their time. The pill reminder is a built-in application that can be customized according to the user to remind when to take their next dosage of medicine or vitamins.

Pantech Wireless researches, markets and develops wireless handsets and telecommunications products. Pantech has also delivered many phones to AT&T, including Crossover, a sporty Android (News - Alert) phone with a full keyboard and touch screen and Pursuit II, a lineup of messaging phones.

Pantech Wireless also announced that four of the biggest names in Skateboarding and BMX – Bucky Lasek, Brett Banasiewicz, Ryan Decenzo and Greg Lutzka – competed as Team Pantech on behalf of the mobile phone manufacturer during the summer Dew Tour. Dew Tour is a coast-to-coast action sports tour of which the company is the title handset sponsor.
