Akamai (News - Alert) Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of cloud optimization services, has joined hands with Netbiscuits (News - Alert), the world’s leading platform for developing, publishing and monetizing sites and apps across all connected devices, to deliver an optimized mobile rendering solution, which will provide greater flexibility and control of how content is viewed by mobile users in order to maximize end-user experiences.
According to the terms of the alliance, both the companies have integrated their platforms to enable better device intelligence, improved performance, and greater reliability into the delivery of these sites.
As a result of the integration, Netbiscuits and Akamai can now engage customers collaboratively to design and deliver a mobile web publishing solution that is delivered as a mobile site hosted by Netbiscuits and delivered through Akamai’s global platform for performance and acceleration.
“Understanding the usability of a mobile site is essential to a successful mobile program,” said Netbiscuits CEO, Michael Neidhoefer, in a statement. “The integrated solution we plan to create with Akamai will be designed to improve the mobile end-user experience as well as provide a comprehensive solution not currently available in the marketplace.”
“Organizations are looking for a variety of options when it comes to a mobile rendering platform,” said David Kenny, president of Akamai. “We believe the Netbiscuits platform provides a comprehensive solution for XML rendering, and we look forward to working with them to provide a greater user experience.”
