This year’s CTIA Wireless (News - Alert) convention in New Orleans is quickly approaching, and frequent attendee Vordel just announced its plans for the event. With the recent boom in cloud and mobile markets, curious developers are taking interest in dissecting and learning these technologies.
Vordel (News - Alert) aims to shed some light on some of the common questions associated with these technologies, through a free Mobile and Cloud workshop and a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) lecture at the Future of Tablets conference.
For the Mobile and Cloud workshop portion, speaker Ed King (News - Alert) will pick at some popular APIs and frameworks of a number of the company’s specialties – namely Enterprise API Management, Cloud Integration to On-premise apps and secure mobile access to enterprise applications.
As far as the Future of Tablets goes, Vordel will take part in a round-table discussion regarding the application of tablets in an enterprise environment, as well as getting into what makes the devices tick – how to stay on the innovative side of things.
Vordel’s ultimate goal at CTIA Wireless this year is to promote interest and education in the way of enterprise and mobile cloud development – which is really becoming a dominating market in the tech world.
Pretty much everyone today has their smartphone, complete with an arsenal of apps, with them at any given time. But what’s less apparent is a growing trend of enterprise businesses taking a more mobile approach to things as well. Things like CRM, VoIP services and other communications technologies are constantly gaining popularity in the mobile market.
Mobile Web and Apps World 2012 takes place May 7, closely followed by The Future of Tablets on the 8th, and finally closing with Vordel Immerse Mobile, Cloud and SOA Workshop on May 9.
