Arieso has announced it released version 1.1 of its geo locating software, ariesoGEO. The update will help network operators identify the exact causes for network faults and resolve them by allowing the operators to input the data from ariesoGEO into Arieso’s (News - Alert) network optimization solution, ariesoACP.
ariesoGEO (Geo-located Event Observer) is the mobile network performance monitoring and optimization solution that focuses on the actual subscriber experience where and when it occurs.
The company boasts that ariesoGEO is the only product on the market that can accurately track the location of every single call on a wireless network in real-time, giving operators unprecedented control and insight.
The updated ariesoGEO provides more flexibility in analyzing the data collected for a particular device like the iPhone (News - Alert) or at a particular place and time where there is more traffic in the network. By identifying and sorting out problematic locations and handsets they can direct their resources to fix those problems immediately and provide their subscribers unhindered quality service.
As the updated version allows network optimization within itself, operators need not opt for any external drive testing methods to figure the faults occurring in the network. This results in time savings and operational costs.
The advanced ariesoGEO framework enables the analysis of various financial or technical metrics in the form of detailed maps, charts and reports. Furthermore, ariesoGEO does not depend on expensive (and relatively uncommon) equipment such as probes or GPS and focuses instead on the information transmitted by mobiles in the normal course of conducting a voice or data call, and can process and use millions of such records.
"In ariesoGEO v1.1 we have improved on what was already a fantastic piece of software," said Shirin Dehghan (News - Alert), CEO of Arieso. "We have listened to our customers and coupled their suggestions and feedback with our own improvements to bring new features to ariesoGEO. The new release gives Operators a simple way to increase revenue and cut down churn, by solving problems that are identified by ariesoGEO to an incredibly specific area. This is already being used by a tier one operator in the US to great effect."
