Men: This Valentine's Day Don't Be Forced to Pick Between Your Smartphone or Lover
While its no surprise some men would pick a sports match, a cold beer or hanging out with the guys over their significant other from time to time, it may be surprising to know that in a recent survey a large number of men said they'd rather give up their significant other than their smartphone, or at least have to seriously think about making a choice between the two.
The survey, conducted recently by Energizer, not only found 44 percent of men responded this way, but another 45 percent also said they are so in love with their devices that they cant live without it.
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, and with mobile communications now popular way to express sentiment on this holiday, Energizer (News - Alert) is reminding men to be sure they have the battery power they need to use their favorite devices without draining the battery and breaking the hearts of their lovers this holiday.
Energizer's survey found men worried most about the battery life of their devices. Sixty percent of respondents said poor battery life was the least favorable feature of their most loved device.
Smartphones these days include a number of functionalities like email, Web, gaming, phone and more, so they need extra power, especially when it comes to heavier users.
To answer to the call, and to help men keep talking and keep their relationships, Energizer offers the Energi To Go Portable Power for Call Phones, a battery driven phone charger that allows the phone to be charged at any time, and no matter where the user is. This means there should be no reason to loose contact with loved ones, especially on Valentine's Day.
"At Energizer, we're always trying to respond to consumers' needs for portable power," said Serge Traylor, Energizer Rechargeable Brand Manager. "With the Energizer Energi To Go Portable Power for Cell Phones, you'll never lose contact with your loved ones, especially on special holidays like Valentine's Day."
Another recent survey conducted by SpinVox (News - Alert) and Kelton Research uncovered that Americans are using their cell phones as an important element in the courtship phase of their relationships and for keeping communications lines moving. For Valentine's Day, SpinVox is suggesting couples capture the heart of their significant other by using their voicemail to text solution to send a poem that can be read over and over again.
