Eagle Mobile, an Albanian mobile operator, reportedly has selected Telenity’s advanced messaging solutions – including Canvas SMSC and Canvas USSD Service Center – to handle its rapidly growing messaging traffic and to introduce new USSD and SMS-based services.

 

With Telenity’s (News - Alert) Canvas Converged Messaging Solutions,  Eagle Mobile hopes to enhance revenues from peer-to-peer and Application-to-Person messaging with a modular, scalable next-generation IP based architecture designed for CAPEX and OPEX (News - Alert) savings.

Taskin said that the USSD Service Center will allow it to enhance its offering with flexible and easy-to-use messaging services.

Telenity officials said that their product offers a USSD gateway with pre-packaged services and a flexible, graphical service creation environment with interactive menu service templates and USSD Menu Browser capability.

 

Officials said that Canvas USSD Service Center enables wireless operators to offer fast and interactive messaging services through the USSD feature of the GSM networks.
