MegaFon, a mobile operator in Russia, has deployed the Venturi Mobile Operator Solution from Venturi Wireless.

In a release, MegaFon (News - Alert) says it chose the solution based on the number of successful customer deployments and the lower cost of ownership.

The Venturi Mobile Operator Solution drives adoption of mobile data services by delivering the best possible subscriber experience for both data and multimedia applications. By addressing the challenges of wireless data transport, Venturi unleashes the promise of 2.5G, 3G and 4G networks – ubiquitous wireless access to the Web, multimedia content, email and business applications at broadband speeds.

By combining the most advanced optimization technologies available, the Mobile Operator Solution increases bandwidth efficiency and delivers maximum performance on CDMA2000 1X / 1xEV-DO / 1xEV-DO Rev. A, GPRS / EDGE / UMTS / HSPA and WiMAX (News - Alert) / WiBro networks.

Adaptive Airlink Optimization, the core of the Venturi Mobile Operator Solution, overcomes TCP-based network issues such as suboptimal speeds, performance inconsistencies and inefficient bandwidth utilization with unmatched levels of speed, consistency and service availability.

The Venturi Mobile Operator Solution provides a high-quality throughout the network, also covering the areas with weak signal strength, high network load or interference degraded data transmission quality. The solution helped business subscribers become more productive and subscribers had better experience with multimedia content, and interactive Web 2.0 and 3.0 applications.

Adaptive Airlink Optimization applies the ideal optimization techniques based on the available bandwidth to boost application performance and efficiency under all radio frequency (RF) conditions.
