Bytemobile, Inc., which offers mobile internet solutions for wireless network operators, has launched its new Unison (News - Alert) Mobile Internet Optimization, Widget Bar and MobileMatch applications.

These are expected to provide a comprehensive and flexible solution for operators for sustained growth and for increasing mobile data adoption.

Adrian Hall, Bytemobile (News - Alert) chief marketing officer explained that Bytemobile’s product portfolio caters to the needs of operators. It offers explosive data traffic growth and diversification to service differentiation and personalized mobile web browsing.

Bytemobile’s Unison architecture eliminates the need to deploy point products from multiple vendors. This flexible option allows operators to integrate services developed by Bytemobile and other providers also.

The Unison platform processes all data traffic for Bytemobile applications as it is deployed in the core data path of the network. New service deployment is made easy as the fully interoperable applications are consolidated in a single node. This also enhances operating efficiency and scalability of capacity.

The Bytemobile product portfolio on the Unison platform includes OSN (Optimization and Services Node) Web optimization application which reduces data volumes on networks to increase the capacity for internet traffic and users. Operators can now offer significant download speedup cost effectively.

The WebGate application is optional with OSN and provides a single service point within the network for all data traffic. Operators can deliver new services like parental controls, fair-use policies and captive portal applications at the same time controlling data flow through intelligent service selection.

Another optional application of the OSN is the MobileMatch Service which supports the selection and delivery of relevant value-added services for individual consumers employing real-time analysis of contextual and behavioral data.

The Web Fidelity Suite Content Adaptation application included with the Unison platform dynamically and transparently transcodes Web, Flash and multimedia content in all mobile devices for interactive use. At the same time it retains the functionality and integrity of the original PC experience.

Using the Ad Insertion application, operators can target consumers with only relevant advertisements. This provides new revenue streams while also enhancing the personalization of the user’s mobile experience.
