Mobile Posse has announced the introduction of MobiCRM in a bid to help companies deliver attractive advertising messages to idle screens on mobile phones.
This screen has become one is the most coveted spaces for advertising as it is the most viewed space in a mobile phone.
According to officials with Mobile Posse, the company has already roped in major carriers such as Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, Alltel Wireless, Cricket Communications and Revol Wireless to engage subscribers through mobile idle screen inventory.
MobiCRM helps advertisers deliver graphical and interactive messages on the idle screen and allows carriers to make use of mostly unused idle screen inventory for proactive and ongoing customer communications.
“We’ve built a messaging platform that delivers phenomenal consumer engagement. Enabling our carrier partners to leverage these capabilities for CRM is a natural extension of our platform,” said Jon Jackson, founder and CEO of Mobile Posse.
“MobiCRM lets wireless carriers connect with their subscriber base in an entirely new way. Carriers can now benefit from the same industry-leading engagement and CTRs that have been enjoyed by advertisers.”
Recently, the company teamed up with Distributive Networks, a text content and mobile technology company, to offer new daily content for users of the Mobile Posse application. Under the terms of the agreement, Mobile Posse will distribute several categories of original Distributive Networks short-form content. The mix of free informational and entertainment programming includes Celebrity Gossip, Fortune Cookie, Horoscopes, Jokes, and more.
