Nectar Accessories Partners with YOUnison to Sell Wireless Consumer Accessory Products in North America
YOUnison, a self-described value-added reseller of some of “the world’s coolest products,” today announced it has been appointed to implement market expansion strategies for Nectar (News - Alert) Accessories, a wireless accessory company.
Under terms of the agreement, Minneapolis-based YOUnison has exclusive territory rights in the United States, Canada and Mexico for distribution, sales and marketing programs for BlueCLIP universal Bluetooth headset holders.
YOUnison will establish a distribution channel in North America and build a sales representative network for all Nectar Accessories products including Nectar’s phone wallet, clutch and work tote. YOUnison will also provide value-added services including marketing, sales, operations and logistics, while offering merchandising support for the retailers and e-tailers.
“Nectar products have a unique design aesthetic and functionality that aligns with the brands we currently offer,” said Derek Peterson, CEO, YOUnison, in a press release. “In addition, the market demand for Nectar Accessories has heightened in recent months as mobile users seek solutions to comply with hands-free laws on a rolling state-by-state basis.”
Nectar Accessories Universal Bluetooth headset holders available through YOUnison include the BlueCLIP Retractable Clip, which helps users answer calls quickly and safely (while keeping the headset secure and attached at all times).
Also available through YOUnison are Nectar’s “Cell Phone (News - Alert) Wallets” and complete line of Cell Phone Purses and Work Totes. Each product offers a see-through cell phone window pane to view caller ID, text messages and e-mails, with touchscreen and/or keypad functionality. It’s ideal for on-the-go teens, moms and working women, said Nectar CEO Renee Cleary.
“YOUnison clearly understands the value proposition of our product line, and how best to strategically market and sell our products through the retailers we are targeting,” said Cleary. “With their marketing muscle and well-established wireless and gift/accessory channels, I am looking forward to great success with mutual upside and a long-term relationship.”
