Telenor Norway, a provider of telecommunications, data and media communication services, has reportedly selected Vantrix for its latest version of Vantrix Message Optimizer.
As per the agreement, the company will leverage the power of Vantrix’s Business Analyzer and Content Filtering offerings.
The deployment at Telenor (News - Alert) was done by Acision as part of Vantrix’s participation in the Acision Innovation Network.
According to officials at Telenor, the latest deployment is enabling them to experience robust, dynamic transcoding and optimization of multimedia elements to adapt MMS to the characteristics of the receiving devices, amongst a wide variety of content formats and wireless devices.
“Vantrix develops leading and best-in-class solutions for the delivery of mobile content across devices and geographies,” said Guttorm Hansen, chief technology officer of Telenor Norway.
“With the growth in demand for MMS both in our home market of Norway and beyond, Vantrix Message Optimizer was the ideal fit. It provides the highest delivery rates, reliability and seamless integration, and the end result is a better customer experience,” Hansen said.
The new solution is also helping Telenor to get a clear picture about mobile subscriber behavior and messaging usage. In addition, thanks to Vantrix Media Controller, up to 99-percent of viruses are filtered from messages delivered into the network.
Robert Fillmore, SVP International Sales for Vantrix said, Telenor is at the forefront of introducing consumable content and services to its subscribers all while ensuring the protection of its own network. He said that they are thrilled that Telenor is relying on Vantrix best-in-class solutions to meet the demands of its global subscriber base.
