The AdvanceMobile VX1 GSM Fixed Mobile Phone (News - Alert) Solution has been introduced by AdvanceTec Industries, Inc., a major player in wireless and commercial in-vehicle communications.
To assist businesses with a mobile workforce compliant with hands-free legislation, text messaging restrictions, and to control ballooning communication costs, the company has released the VX1 Fixed Mobile Phone solution. This will assist in mitigating potential corporate liability incurred with accidents, while on the phone, ticket exposure for phone use not in compliance with local hands-free legislation. Further, this also improves the safety of the phone use while operating a vehicle.
For easy permanent placement in the vehicle, the AdvanceMobile VX1 has been designed. It has a rugged industrial design which meets the harsh automotive temperature environment.
Being GPS enabled, AdvanceTec’s (News - Alert) VX1 provides fleet managers with the capability to track mobile assets globally. Also, it offers Telematics features, including Geo Fencing, vehicle speed notification, color coded vehicle tracking and one button emergency notification.
To incorporate echo cancellation and noise suppression, the VX1 provides hands-free, full-duplex voice quality using advanced algorithms. In addition to the microphone, a palm microphone can be used to replicate the experience of using a two-way radio or to overcome loud in cabin noise by speaking directly in to the Palm Microphone.

Motorola (News - Alert) GSM Quad Band technology is used by the AdvanceMobile VX1. Using existing voice plans, it can also be activated on AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier in the United States. Its Quad Band technology enables carrier partners outside of the USA to activate the VX1 on their networks.
