QuesCom's 'One Number' Application Builds Value for Enterprises

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

SaaS (News - Alert) has grown in popularity and as a natural sequel to telephony evolution, QuesCom, a leader in mobile gateway and fixed mobile converged solutions, has introduced the One Number application in a service provider version.

QuesCom, which fully integrates with any existing telephone infrastructure, is compatible with VoIP solutions. It is committed to building value for its customers and partners.

Enterprise users can now provide just a single phone number to callers and can also choose the time they wish to be called with a multi-ring capability. This brings in fresh revenue opportunities and helps build customer loyalty. The other advantage is that there is no hardware or software to maintain as the application is hosted in the cloud with a simple Web interface provided to the user.

The enterprise also stands to gain as mobile workforce becomes more efficient and technical challenges are all eliminated. Business continuity is also ensured as critical calls can be routed through the mobile network in case of fixed line or data failure.

QuesCom (News - Alert) Enterprise Mobile Communication Gateways further enhance the offering, enabling the cost benefit of mobile to mobile call routing. These gateways provide a direct connection to the mobile network allowing users to save on communication costs and also benefit from fixed mobile converged solutions.

With virtual SIM capability and QuesCom SIM management, it is a plug-and-play solution for the end user with all configuration and maintenance managed by the service provider.

In a press release, Gilles Meyer, CEO, QuesCom SA, said, “Cloud-based computing and IP telephony have created an opportunity for QuesCom and its partners to further simplify the lives of our end customers, and we are excited about the future of our products and their integration with leading technologies.”

Epygi Technologies (News - Alert) Ltd., a worldwide provider of IP PBXs, gateways and conference servers supporting small businesses to enterprise’s telephony needs, and QuesCom SA, teamed up to provide direct mobile network access for Epygi IP PBX (News - Alert) users.
