Free Call Center: Spanlink Communications and Convergys Corporation Enter into Partnership

Spanlink Communications, a Cisco (News - Alert) partner focused on designing, implementing and supporting call center and customer collaboration solutions, and Convergys Corporation have just inked a partnership to provide a comprehensive cloud-based call center solution that leverages the Cisco contact center platform and breaks free from competition in the space.


"The partnership between Spanlink (News - Alert) and Convergys is powerful," said Eric LeBow, CEO, Spanlink, in a statement.

Spanlink brings over a decade of experience designing, deploying, and supporting some of the largest Cisco contact centers in the world.

“Combine that with the secure data centers, contact center operational expertise, global footprint and financial strength of Convergys (News - Alert), and you create a partnership that gives our customers and prospects confidence that their contact center operations are in good hands and will deliver business results," he said.

With the Spanlink and Convergys cloud offer, customers will be able to easily expand or tailor contact center feature capabilities as needed, and will have be free to ramp-up capacity to accommodate peak times and scale back when demands lessen.

In addition to core contact center functionality, Spanlink and Convergys are developing offerings to drive additional value for customers including call routing, intelligent self-service, quality monitoring tools and consolidated reporting and analytics tools.

In related news, TMCnet reported this week that it is very important that as new technology is introduced, call centers implement these solutions to better streamline operations and reduce costs.
