IPscape (News - Alert), a provider of hosted contact center solutions, has recently revealed Telstra Global has selected its solutions to launch a virtual contact center service that comes complete with a predictive dialer free from complexity.
The virtual contact center service which is named the Telstra (News - Alert) Global Virtual Contact Center (VCC), will be hosted in Telstra data centers. The service will be marketed initially to corporations located in South East Asia.
In order to power the call center, Telstra first received a $5 million investment from venture capital subsidiary, Telstra Application and Ventures Group (AVG).
The call center will be the first enterprise grade cloud application of its kind to be seamlessly integrated into a global telecommunications portfolio. In fact this call center solution allows companies to quickly scale their contact center capabilities to accommodate initiatives such as new product launches, as well as trials or peaks in customer demand without making a long term commitment or paying new license fees.
Additionally, IPscape's Agile (News - Alert) Messaging Service helps create new customer conversations in the unique drag and drop interface, eliminating the need for complex and very expensive computer programming. Agents can be activated from anywhere whether it is an office or home-based locations and the service is available in any handheld devices like laptop or mobiles.
“When IPscape was established in 2007 our vision was to change the game and give all businesses, no matter what size, a better way of buying and managing contact center technology...In five years we expect cloud solutions such as the Telstra Global VCC to be the 'norm' and the traditional to simply be seen as 'out of date'," said Simon Burke, IPscape founder and CEO, in a statement.
