It was a busy week in the Free Predictive Dialer sector. Here are some of the major stories from TMCnet.
Frost & Sullivan reports the Asia-Pacific hosted contact center services market has earned revenue of $181.9 million in 2011 and this amount may jump to nearly $465 million by 2018. Organizations are adopting hosted models to gain access to sophisticated applications such as a predictive dialer that will ultimately help them optimize their resources, improve flexibility and scalability that will drive expansion, and meet an array of disaster recovery needs.
When a business invests its resources into a product such as a predictive dialer, they want to be certain they’ll see its benefits, including increased efficiency and productivity among employees, lower costs, and most importantly a hefty return on investment. When implementing this dialer, agents, are now free from having to manually dial each and every number, and can instead turn to a click-to-dial process. According to the Call Centre Helper, a dramatic improvement in agent efficiency is one the largest advantages any firm can see when first leveraging this technology with the ratio of the number of phone lines to agents ranging from 2:1 to 3:1.
In another story, Capacity Magazine (News - Alert) says Kunnect, a free predictive dialer provider, was on the shortlist in two award categories: Best Technology Partner and Best Niche/New Player. The Capacity Awards 2012 will be hosted in Amsterdam on Nov. 13, when the winners and runner-ups will be announced.
